WHO’S IN THE HOUSE
Time and again we hear that the level of service we offer our clients is one of the things that sets us apart. We think this is because we love what we do and, above all, we really care about each project and every client.

"IF WE DON'T LAUGH EACH DAY, WE HAVE FAILED OURSELVES."
- Grail Noble
CEO AND FOUNDER
Hello, I'm Grail.
I started my own agency because I wanted to create a place where clients would feel at home and employees would love to work. A place where, together, we could create great experiences for the brands we are lucky enough to work with... and have a great time doing it.
Before founding YellowHouse, I spent many years on the "client side". I worked for YTV, the NBA, Molson and The Heart & Stroke Foundation, gaining valuable experience in the international media, sports, non-profit, retail and consumer packaged goods sectors. I managed sponsorships, events and promotions for exciting brands like Coke, Nike, Nestle, Kellogg and Chrysler. Over the years, I've dealt with international media, celebrities, executives and politicians. I learned, I grew and I loved the business.
Now I apply that experience to delivering strategic experiential campaigns for our clients. I have been honoured to be included on lists like the Profit100 Top Growth companies and the Profit W100 top female entrepreneurs and have won a few other awards along the way. But it is not about the awards. it's about the daily reward I get working with creative, smart people internally and externally.
I am very proud of this agency, our people and the work we do!

VP, SPECIAL PROJECTS
How many VP's of Special Projects does it take to change a light bulb? Just one, me.
Should you ever have a chance to visit our beautiful offices in the Distillery, you may catch a glimpse of me perched high above the fray on a ladder. As the CIF - Chief Illuminations Facilitator - I create the precise amount of ambient light that fuels the creative interchanges within the office. If I had to compare this role to a mythical figure, it would probably be the Roman sun god Apollo.
When I come down from my ladder, I also contribute to various areas in the House, including HR, communications, and Business Development. My history in academics, education and competitive sports provides a wide range of experience and leadership to the YellowHouse team.
So, if you want to have an illuminating conversation, reach out any time.
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS
Hello, I'm Meg. I truly love what I do, and do what I love. Since I started calling YellowHouse home, I haven't looked back. Nor have I had time to! Since joining YellowHouse, I've traveled all over North America and the Caribbean delivering brand immersions for some of the world's biggest brands. With a post graduate degree in Corporate Communications and Public Relations, I love seeing my clients bask in the spotlight from my favourite place behind the stage.
Whether I'm having dinner with some friends at a hot new restaurant or checking out a DJ spin at a local club, I'm always conducting "research" and keeping my finger on the pulse of new trends. I believe in events as the most effective vehicle to communicate a message, a feeling and building brands.
Meg loves travel and her fav food is pizza. Poutine is a close second since she moved to MONTREAL. She works it off commuting to Toronto every other week and ON our daily video chats.
DIRECTOR OF FINANCE
Hello, I am Val. I like numbers. Actually, I love numbers! I am proud of my work here and the way I keep the "House" in order. I work with the entire team to ensure each penny, on each line item, of every budget, for each and every client project is accounted for and accurate. I also work hard to ensure our vendors are paid on time and to find savings for our clients wherever I can, which makes everyone happy!
VAL LOVES TO COOK AND BAKE, AND SHE IS DARN GOOD AT IT.

Hi, I'm Sara and I’m excited to return to Yellow House with 13+ years experience on both client and agency side in integrated marketing. Most recently I was the Director of Events at Hudson’s Bay leading marketing activation, sponsorship, strategic partnerships and impactful brand launches including new collections, celebrity appearances, TIFF and the official Team Canada Olympic Collection.
I’m passionate about creating moments that matter and delivering seamless, multi-dimensional brand experiences that allow the brands we work with to connect with their audience. At Yellow House I support client development dedicated to integrating our core capabilities and subject matter experts into every project as well as driving new & organic business growth.
Senior Manager, Events & Communications
Hi, I'm Kurt. Don't let that wrinkle-free smile fool you. I've spent 8+ years rounding out my experience in the event marketing industry, beginning on the agency side at Yellow House Events. Eventually I moved client-side where I managed events within the Global Event Marketing team at Scotiabank and supported the development and execution of customer acquisition campaigns with Kobo and Interaxon: the creators of Muse.
Now I'm back and I'm excited to be here! Creating memorable brand experiences and connecting companies with their customers in a meaningful way is as important to me as it is to the clients we serve. Whether it's a high-profile product launch with senior level executives or a consumer-facing experiential program that gets people talking, I lead each program with accountability, integrity and a high-standard of success. Not every project is easy, but at the end of the day, I rely on 3 Ps to keep going: a good pun, a cold pint, and a strong partnership.
Hello friends! My name is Trev and I am tickled yellow to be in the House.
I am coming at you with 4 years under my belt of coordinating concerts, festivals, and experiential stunts at Yonge-Dundas Square in Toronto. I worked on an ever-changing range or projects such as the Griffen Session Craft Beer Festivals and MINI Canada's City Cinema Movie Nights. From there I made the move to the agency world for a fast-paced 3 years at Wynford, one of Canada's biggest incentive houses. This balance of working on the venue side, mixed with third-party experience, has allowed me to master all angles of event creation and management. My extensive experience doesn't stop there: I have also worked at sea, for one of the world's largest cruise companies (and my portfolio even includes teaching line dancing!).
My educational training was in live theatre production at Ryerson University; theatre being something I continue to be an avid fan. When I am not in the House, I can be found eating suicide wings, or climbing a mountain (Kilimanjaro).
I first fell in love with YellowHouse while I was completing my post grad in the Sport Event & Marketing program at George Brown College. So landing in the house full time was a dream come true!
I came with a background in experiential marketing having worked as a Brand Ambassador on the Rogers sponsorship team where I represented top-tier clients such as The Toronto Blue Jays and the Rogers Cup. I've also worked internally at Maple Leaf Sport and Entertainment with their Toronto Raptors and Toronto Maple Leaf’s marketing team. At YellowHouse I deliver on experiential programs for clients such as Awake Chocolate and The Hudson's Bay. I also produce a wide range of events ranging from conferences, product launches and incentive trips, all while staying on top of our social channels on a daily basis.
As you might have guessed, I'm an avid sports fan and love spending my spare time at games eating arena nachos! I am passionate about charity work and firmly believe that life is an experience, so why not create a lasting one?
Hello, I’m Queenie.
I started off as the YellowHouse house guest (intern) and since then I’ve become a permanent resident.
Oddly enough, my event-planning career stemmed from competitive jiu-jitsu, which led me to volunteering at tournaments. Since then, I’ve worked on a variety of events with clients ranging from the Hockey Hall of Fame, Toronto Fashion Week, Toronto Men’s Fashion Week, Home Depot and Samsung. I love the urgency of juggling multiple roles and tasks at once, just ask any of my team members. I’ve been know to train at 7am, head to work, volunteer, and train again at night. I don’t like wasting moments and YellowHouse is the perfect place to make the most of all those moments that matter, which is why I love it here!
If I’m not at an event or in the YellowHouse office planning an event, you can always find me either teaching or learning on the mats!
Hello. My name is Shannon and I am a serious travel and adventure junky. When not sampling innovative eats (deep fried scorpion anyone?), I enjoy the daily challenges of envisioning great experiences for my clients in the perfect venue or exotic location ... paired with the perfect food (with or without a deadly tail). I get great pleasure from meeting and learning from new people, and I love the adrenaline rush of executing a seamlessly awesome event.
My experience spans over 20 years of working on large conferences, galas and fundraisers all over North America. Whether I'm partnered with big, burly oil and gas clients, aspiring ballerinas, elegant and exacting fundraising gala committees, or edgy, tech-savvy hipsters, I always bring their visions to life with creativity, energy and know-how.
I always go the extra mile for my clients and I bring experience, contagious enthusiasm and a real "can-do-already done" attitude to everything.
Hello, I'm Michael. I love to write code and have been doing it for over a decade. I've been fortunate to work in a wide variety of Industries, including: gaming, digital advertising, social startups and investment banking.
For those more techy readers, my skills include: Java, front end development, backend development, api development, streaming services, mobile app development, modern development tools, vagrant, puppet, angular, ionic framework, cordova, phonegap, vertx, electroserver, smartfox server, python, shell scripting, sql ... but if that is all Greek to you, then just know that I have worked both “client side” with high-profile, high-security companies like Morgan Stanley, and “agency side” with Critical Mass, Marble Media, Henderson Bas and of course YellowHouse. I build beautiful, functional websites and have also built kickass custom apps for clients like Super Bowl 50 & recently for one of YellowHouse's US-based clients, Samsung.
I enjoy continuously learning and updating my knowledge. This is the beauty of my industry - it's ever evolving and improving. In my spare time, I enjoy staying active with volleyball, rock climbing and weight lifting.
CHAIR, ADVISORY BOARD
Hi I’m Jen. After a successful stint as the Director of Sales & Marketing at YellowHouse, I took on a new role at Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. But I just couldn’t leave YH, so, I moved into an advisory role and am now the Chair of the YellowHouse Events’ Advisory Board. I also offer YH marketing consulting services as needed. It is an honour to work with this company and the team in “the house.”
Before YellowHouse, I spent 12 years at Maple Leaf Sports & Entertainment where I worked with several key brands on strategy, sponsorship and branding. So, if you want to talk about how to bring brands to life or Cause Marketing, I'm your girl. If you want to talk about Sauvignon Blanc, your fav episode of Modern Family or your dog, I'm your girl for that too. After all, it’s important to be well-rounded.
Hello there, I’m Tyler Smith. I’ve had a varied and exciting career spent writing, branding and marketing great products for Chiquita, Starbucks, Corona and also great people like Nelly Furtado and Alicia Keys. I am also into food. So much
so that I co-authored “Grilled To Perfection: Recipes From License To Grill”, which became a best selling cookbook series available worldwide in multiple translations. Over the last five years, I’ve worked frequently with the talented YellowHouse team on various projects and I am thrilled
to head up the US office after relocating to Boston.
